Terms of Service

By starting weekly curbside collection with Mid-Atlantic Disposal, Inc., you agree to these Terms of Service. Related operating rules are in our Service Terms & Right to Refuse Service.

Service

Service is weekly collection of household solid waste in a company-owned 96-gallon cart. Pickup day is assigned after cart delivery, typically within 2-3 business days of signup.

Billing

Rates are quoted monthly (Hoke $25 / Robeson $28, plus $12 per extra cart) and billed quarterly ($75 / $84, plus $36 per extra cart). Auto-Pay charges the card on file. Quarterly invoicing sends the first invoice by email within 2-3 business days. A $5 late fee applies if unpaid by the due date. Accounts 15 or more days past due may be placed on hold. Accounts 30 or more days past due may have the cart retrieved and service cancelled.

Carts

The 96-gallon cart remains property of Mid-Atlantic Disposal, Inc. You must keep it in a safe place. Replacement may be charged if the cart is stolen or damaged beyond normal wear. We replace carts at no cost for normal wear.

Cancellation

Contact our office to schedule cart pickup. Unreturned or unwashed carts may be billed on the final invoice. Moves out of the service area are prorated after the cart is recovered.

Missed pickups

Report a missed pickup by the end of the next business day after your pickup day.
