Last updated September 14, 2026

These operating rules apply to every Mid-Atlantic Disposal, Inc. account, together with our Terms of Service.

Cart placement

Place the cart at the curb the night before pickup day, with the lid closed and the cart unobstructed. Drain liquids from containers. Bag loose trash. Flatten cardboard and set it beside the cart. Blocked access, carts not out, or overloaded carts may be skipped and logged as an exception.

Hazardous and banned materials

Do not place any of the following in the cart: oil, fuel, animal carcasses, sewage, car parts, paint, ashes, dirt, embers, tires, batteries, poisons, herbicides, or pesticides. This list is not complete. Hazardous or banned material may be refused on the spot.

Items not included

Yard debris, construction debris, tires, appliances, furniture, and other bulk items are not part of weekly service. Schedule those through the support hub for an extra charge.

Right to refuse service

Mid-Atlantic Disposal, Inc. may refuse or skip a stop when the cart contains banned materials, is unsafe to handle, blocks traffic, is inaccessible, or the account is delinquent. Drivers may acknowledge and skip overdue accounts. Repeated violations may result in hold or cancellation.
